I purchased the EKOI Perf W4 Boa winter shoes for cold weather riding in Northern California and they do not disappoint! Starting temps for my most recent group ride were in the low 40's and damp. My feed stayed nice and warm and dry throughout the ride, performing much better than shoe covers! Very happy with my purchase and love the fact that I can now ride comfortably year round!

Loved the winter shoes from the first wear. kept my feet drier and warmer and still felt 'light' in how they worked with the look clips

I have always had problems with keeping my feet warm, and have tried overshoes, toe covers, oversocks. These winter shoes are the first time I have gone riding in 35°F and had no problems. I should have bought sooner. Highly recommended.

Surprisingly comfortable and not just in cold weather. The synthetic sole is exceptional stiff and I like the insulated liner on the tongue combined with single boa adjuster and velcro strap across the ankle. They are easy to get on and take off. I've ridden with them now in 40 deg F weather using just the shoes with my winter socks and no booty over the top. My feet were completely warm on a 2-hour training ride.

J'ai fait une petite balade avec une température d'environ 15°. Il s'est senti bien, à l'aise. Je ne sais pas s'il était possible de rouler plus longtemps à cette température. Le lendemain, j'ai parcouru environ 14 miles avec une température d'environ 32°C. J'étais un peu sous-vêtu et la seule partie de mon corps qui était chaude était mes pieds. Je pense que les chaussures de route sont parfaites pour les randonnées à des températures comprises entre 15 et 40 degrés. J'ai pris une taille au dessus pour pouvoir porter une paire de chaussettes épaisses et pouvoir bouger les orteils. nLa zone des chevilles est très confortable, l'adhérence est géniale. Hautement recommandées.n

A well made pair of boots easy to get on and boa adjustment works well. The top Velcro fastening is long enough to work, unlike some other brands. Bought a size larger than normal which works well with thicker socks . Would recommend.

All the kit i have brought is excellent.
i do have one issue,the heated over shoes,i purchased along with the gloves.

i think there should have a zip on the rear heel and not Velcro,sometimes it is hard to pull it round with your shoes on.

I wore these boots first on a short ride around the village and found one boot to be a bit tight as I have one foot that is wider than the other.
However, I then wore them on a 100km ride on a dry but cold Sunday (4⁰). After only a few km, the tightness had been stretched out on the ill fitting boot and I felt no discomfort throughout the ride.
The boots kept my toes warm, without ever overheating. The soles are very stiff, giving a confidence whenever riding out of the saddle.
My only gripe would be a preference for an extra Boa dial on the forefoot.
I expect these boots will keep my feet dry when the rains come down!
Overall, good value for money, but I'm not sure they are worth over £300

It was really difficult to find winter shoes for the SPD clip and I’m really happy that this pair of shoes are so good in cold weather.

Good Winter boot to keep the permafrost off ,my poor feet! Great quality, couldn't be more pleased with the product - like all Ekoi kit, these are excellent value for money.

After a few cold Winter road rides, I find these shoes to be much better than traditional over shoe covers. You need to order UP one size from your normal EKOI shoe size due to thicker & stiffer shoe material on the top BUT this gives you room for AIR which is part of the warmth. So I found 40-50 degrees F, One wool sock was fine but lower temps, I would use the EKOI CoolMax or OutLast thin sock as a liner with an EKOI thicker wool sock on top. Also, consider using antiperspirant on your toes first and/or electric socks. The shoes look great and seal out the moisture well and used them with KEO style power pedals with no issues.

Delivery is very fast. I've always received my shipments within a week. Size matters. Thanks to the size guide available with all products. It's a comfortable fit and protects me from the harsh winters in Texas. Ekoi is my go to store for my cycling needs. All products are high quality and affordable especailly when you catch the sales. Love it

Shoes were ordered, but did not receive a notice that delivery did not occur. Package is now back to sender and I cannot change it

Combined with knee-length merino wool socks, these shoes kept my feet toasty at -2C - even without overshoes.
