Victor Koretzky: "I'm having a great year"

"I got off to a good start because we saw in the other races that you have to be placed at the start. I let the two Swiss run away because I was afraid to put myself in the red, I think I did well because I still had a lot of resources at the end of the race. I think I managed my effort well. When I came back to Cink (with one and a half laps to go), I didn't stay with him for long, I attacked him in the technical part of the circuit and he didn't follow. As we approached the finish, I was still on the pedal.

This third place gives even more relief to my season, I'm having a great year, even if I didn't want to go to the Games to do 5th, but to make a medal.
