Thomas Litscher is a cross-country mountain bike specialist.
In 2007, he won the titles of World Champion and European Champion in junior cross-country in his final season in the category. That same season, he also completed the double by also becoming World Champion and European Champion in the mixed relay alongside Florian Vogel, Petra Henzi and Nino Schurter.
In 2010, as part of the M.I.G. Team, Thomas Litscher once again did the double by winning the World Championship and European Championship in the mixed relay alongside Roger Walder, Ralph Näf and Katrin Leumann.
In 2011, the mountain biker signed with Felt Oetztal X - Bionic Team and became World Champion in the U23 cross country.
In 2012, the Swiss mountain biker became Swiss champion in the XCO Eliminator event.
In 2013, he joined the Multivan Merida Biking Team in which he remained for four seasons.
In 2019, after a two-year stint with JB Brunex Felt Team, Thomas Litscher joined the Team KMC Orbea. In his first season with his new team, he finished 26th overall in the Cross Country World Cup.
In 2020, he won the bronze medal in the mixed relay at the World Championships and European Championships.
