Victor Campenaerts' professional career
He made his professional debut in 2014 with the Topsport Vlaanderen-Baloise team before signing a contract in 2016 with Lotto NL - Jumbo.
In his first season with his new team, he became Belgian time trial champion and then European vice-champion in the specialty.
The following year, he won the time trial stage of the Tour of Andalusia before becoming European Time Trial Champion.
In 2018, he signed with the Lotto Soudal team and achieved the Belgian champion and then European time trial champion double before earning a bronze medal at the World Championships.
In 2019, after winning the time trial stage on Tirreno-Adriatico, he focused on his hour record attempt, which he achieved on April 16 by riding 55.089 kilometers in Mexico. That same year, at the Tour of Belgium, he won his first professional victory in a road race.
In 2020, he joined the NTT Pro Cycling team. He accumulates podium finishes: after being beaten by Wout Van Aert in the Belgian time trial championship, he finishes third in the European championship.
