Tim Wellens won and knocked out his opponents following a decisive attack a dozen kilometers from the finish of the stage which took place around the town of Bessèges. 
Second place goes to Edward Theuns of Team Trek-Segafredo who crosses the line ... 37 seconds later!

With his success, Tim Wellens takes the leader's jersey from Christophe Laporte of Team Cofidis who won the 1st stage.
