2001. Ekoï is born in a mythical land

Northern France. Ekoï was born in Roubaix, a city known to cyclists the world over as the finishing site of the legendary Paris-Roubaix, aka the "Enfer du Nord".

The brand's products were then sold in France through traditional retailers.

2008. Ekoï goes digital and sets up in the South of France

Ekoï jumped on the digital bandwagon with the creation of the website, ekoi.fr: that year, 602 French and 22 Belgian customers let themselves be tempted and bought a product from the brand. The brand establishes itself on the shores of the Mediterranean, in Fréjus, at the foot of the Esterel and on the Corniche d'Or.

2009. 1st success for a pro cyclist with an Ekoï helmet in the Tour de France

Ekoï equips the Agritubel team with helmets, already managed by Manu Hubert, the current manager of the ARKEA-SAMSIC team, for which the brand is still today the helmet, eyewear and textile partner.

Brice Feillu, a climber then aged 23, won the seventh stage of the Tour de France wearing an Ekoï helmet. This is the first Tour de France victory for an Ekoï helmet. More than 1,500 customers buy helmets and eyewear on the brand's website...

2011. First collaboration with Philippe Gilbert

Ekoï signs a partnership agreement for recovery-optimizing compression garments with Philippe Gilbert who, that year, becomes world number 1!!!! Since then, Ekoï and the man affectionately nicknamed Phil' have continued to work together while forging close ties, making the Belgian champion still and more than ever the brand's #1 global ambassador.

Ten years after its birth, there are more than 5000 customers who place their trust in the brand...

2012. Ekoï enters the World Tour

Ekoï enters the closed circle of brands partnering a World Tour team by equipping the AG2R team, then managed by Vincent Lavenu, with helmets.

The brand's visibility extends beyond France and gradually takes on a European dimension.

2013. Ekoï performs at the highest level of triathlon

Belgian triathlete Frederik Van Lierde wins the Ironman World Championship for the first time with an Ekoï chrono helmet designed especially for him.

The event was then held in Hawaii and the Americans discovered this French brand with astonishment!!!

2014. A website translated into 8 languages and .com

Ekoï decides to sell throughout Europe and translates its website into 8 languages. This became ekoi.com.

Jean-Christophe Péraud of the AG2R team takes second place overall in the Tour de France with an Ekoï helmet.

Sales grow in Spain, France and Benelux.

Ekoï, at the request of French customers, expands its textile range.

2015. Ekoï wins over the Italian market

Fabio Aru, of the Astana team, wins the Vuelta with Ekoï eyewear and makes the brand known in Italy. Italy then becomes the third most important country after France and Belgium.

2016. Ekoï gains international visibility during the Tour de France

French cyclist and climber Romain Bardet, from the AG2R team, wins another stage of the Tour de France for Ekoï and takes second place overall; he gives global visibility to the brand and sales progress throughout Europe...Ekoï sets up in Spain and presents its first shoe models.

2017. Sponsorship boosts sales in Benelux and Germany

The Quickstep team, recognized as one of the best teams in the world, calls on Ekoï to become an eyewear partner... This favorably impacts sales in the Benelux.

Patrick Lange offers Ekoï a triathlon world championship title in Hawaii. The impact is immediate, and sales in Germany and Austria soar.

Ekoï becomes one of triathletes' favorite helmet and eyewear brands.

2018. Record road wins

Ekoï was the brand with the most road wins that year, with over 150 victories, and Patrick Lange once again became triathlon world champion for the second time wearing an Ekoï helmet and goggles.

Ekoï becomes a recognized brand throughout Europe.

2019. Creation of the VIP club

Ekoï becomes a textile partner of the ARKEA team.

It's another fine crop of victories, including the French Championship title for Warren Barguil (equipped with Ekoï clothing and eyewear), a legendary Paris-Roubaix for Philippe Gilbert and an exceptional year for Frenchman Julian Alaphilippe, a wearer of the brand's eyewear who won the Milan San Remo, the Flèche Wallonne and donned the yellow jersey on the Tour de France for 14 days, among others.

This is the year of the creation of the club EKOÏ VIP, which aims to strengthen the community in France and Europe. Ekoï textiles have become a benchmark for European customers.

2020. From head to toe and in every discipline

Ekoï makes a name for itself in mountain biking by equipping the KMC world number 1 team.

Ekoï becomes a leading brand in Europe thanks to its unbeatable value for money.

Ekoï is one of the few brands capable of outfitting you from head to toe in mountain biking, gravel, triathlon and for the road...

Employees move to a new site. This houses a storage warehouse and a showroom. The latter is more than just an exhibition and sales space, it's a luxurious showcase designed to offer a one-of-a-kind customer experience.

2021. Ekoï accelerates sponsorship and achieves an exceptional Giro!

Ekoï is the equipment supplier for six road teams, including Arkéa-Samsic, Cofidis, Lotto-Soudal and Saint-Michel. On the major tours, the brand offers itself unprecedented visibility.

On the Giro, the brand pockets six stage wins, including two thanks to powerful Australian sprinter Caleb Ewan (AR14 helmet and goggles).

2022. Ekoï, an international brand

Ekoï becomes official helmet supplier Ironman monde and decides to attack the American market.

Ekoï takes on a new dimension and is distributed in Asia, in Japan in particular, thanks to its ambassador Fumy Beppu. A showroom is opened in Hong Kong.

Ekoï signs a new partnership with the Israel Premier Tech road team, outfitting riders from head to toe.

Ekoï makes its gravel debut by partnering the Wish One team and Nicolas Roche's team.

Julien Absalon, a true mountain bike legend, becomes an ambassador and consultant for the brand.

2023. Ekoï conquers Australia and Canada and signs a triple on the Tour de France!

Ekoï expands into Australia and Canada, and this year signs a partnership with the Quebec and Montreal Grand Prix.

Ekoï wins three Tour de France victories: 2 with the Cofidis team and 1 with the Israel Premier Tech team. Patrick Lange and Anne Haug both become IRONMAN world vice-champions!

Ekoï exports to 80 countries and there are over 720,000 customers who put their trust in the brand!
