Chris Froome surprises contest winner

All due respect. We couldn't start this August gazette any other way than by mentioning the huge surprise Christopher Froome himself had in store for René Trautmann.

Let's start by getting to know René. A German customer of Ekoï and a regular cyclist, he took part in a special Tour de France competition, the main prize of which was a copy of the Factor bike ridden by the four-time winner of the event. And, you guessed it, he was drawn and invited to come to France, in the Var region, to the company's headquarters.

The rest speaks for itself...René Trautmann expected to simply be handed the bike. He had an entirely different experience. Images of his unforgettable moment.

Absalon: model class

Julien Absalon lives in the South of France. So it's as a "neighbor" that he regularly comes to visit us at headquarters. A valuable and prestigious advisor to the "footwear" department, it was in the capacity of...model that we found him at the end of August.

TGV: testing at high speed

At Ekoï, as you no doubt know, performance is a pillar of the brand. It irrigates the ranges and dictates product development.

To test the aerodynamic efficiency of our helmets and wetsuits, we didn't hesitate to carry out outdoor tests...on a former runway. With a first-rate pilot in the person of Stéphane Rossetto, ex-professional racer and current sponsorship manager.

We thought the images had character...and so it's with immense pleasure that we share them with you. One more exclusive!

Of all the materials, this is the...

...leather (which rhymes with..... better ;) . As a privilege, here's a (still somewhat suggestive) shot of the next shoe designed by our R&D department.
