Reading Sequence

Remember, the French editorial staff of the magazine Cyclist spent the day at EKOI BY the end of January… You were then able to discover backstage pictures in the VIP Newsletter EKOÏ #2 at the beginning of February. If we talk about this again, it is precisely because a few days ago an eight-page edition devoted to EKOÏ appeared on newsstands.

We invite you to get this edition of the magazine because of the very good editorial quality, richly documented and pleasantly illustrated. Cyclist lives up to its reputation for quality. Jean-Christophe Rattel (CEO Founder of EKOÏ) appreciated this background paper devoted to the brand from the “made in France” side. We captured this 100% VIP reading moment.

The daily Nice-Matin

This month's EKOÏ media news was marked by the visit of Marie-Cécile Bérenger, eco-journalist from the daily Nice-Matin. Guided by Thibaut our press responsible, she had no idea of the history, operation and ambitions of the  company she discovered...Highlight of this visit: an interview lasting more than an hour with Jean-Christophe Rattel. A few days later an article appeared (in Nice-Matin and Var-Matin) where she describes EKOI trajectory, the various services, and evokes the company expansion, the new warehouse, the innovations...

EKOÏ, TV guest!

Still media with, this time, a TV interview. This Thursday, February 23, it is just 7 a.m. live on the BFMTV Nice Côte-d'Azur when Jean-Christophe Rattel familiar face appears at the bottom right of the screen l. At 7:15 a.m., he is “the guest of the day”. Placed in technicaal control, our special correspondent took for you some 100% unpublished pics on and behind the set.

Mr. Ambassador…

Being an EKOÏ ambassador for an athlete means putting the image and expertise at the service of the brand. EKOI takes into account prestigious ones. Among them, the immense MTB champion, Mr. Julien ABSALON.

This photo shows him discussing with our shoe engineer, Raphaël. Our technician appreciated Julien's precision and pragmatism while emphasizing the luck and above all the tremendous opportunity to be able to benefit from this champion experience. To offer the best to these customers, your brand calls on the best! The proof.

The Italian class

In terms of visits this month, we received the Italian rider, JACOPO GUARNIERI. Known for being an outstanding pitcher, he joined the LOTTO-DSTNY team at 35 for 2 years. His role: Caleb Ewan's pilot. Objective: catching victories.

More used to seeing him on the bike than with daily clothes, we met a friendly man with a meticulous look and a resolutely Italian relaxed attitude. For 2 hours, he visited the company, listened carefully to our product developers and discussed with the various departments. To tell you the truth, we assumed that he had, as a sprinter, an acquaintance with helmets... To our surprise, he showed a particular affinity with...glasses, taking pleasure in trying them on in the show- room, and told us :

“When riding at high speeds approaching a sprint, hold of the glasses on the face is essential. The head moves in all directions to search for its sprinter, but the premium EVO 90 stay in place.”

Behind the scenes of a photo shooting

For the first time, we wanted to share with you the backstage of a photo shoot. This one took place a few days ago in a neighborhood professional studio. On the program: shots of the future…GRAVEL collection by Ekoï. Release scheduled for March 18. Of course, we are counting on your discretion until this date which is so far “top secret”.

Scene of regular motorized games, the mythical Paul Ricard circuit will host a cycling event on 22 and 23 April. ...The Castellet 24h bike race!

A major challenge that a quartet of EKOÏ employees decided to take up. Among the competitors of the company,  four are indeed determined to ride the most laps on the Var circuit asphalt pool... To be continued…
