Handlebar Tape

EKOI is expanding its range of accessories with a new handlebar tape collection built around three complementary families: Ekoï Racing EASY, Ekoï Perf HOLOGRAPHIC and Ekoï Perf GRI. This range meets cyclists’ essential expectations when it comes to bar tape: easy installation, grip, comfort and vibration absorption, while also giving you the chance to personalise the look of your bike. Whether you’re after direct road feel, comfortable cushioning or maximum grip in competition, EKOI offers a solution tailored to every riding style and every discipline.

The role of handlebar tape: grip, comfort and vibration absorption

Handlebar tape, also called bar tape, directly affects a cyclist’s comfort and steering precision. It ensures a secure grip on the handlebars, helps reduce fatigue caused by road vibrations and protects the handlebar from temperature changes.

Depending on the material and thickness chosen, handlebar tape offers a different balance between sharp, direct riding feedback and cushioned comfort over long distances.

EKOI Racing EASY: easy installation, two ride sensations to choose from

Made from 100% genuine silicone, the EASY TAPE SILICONE combines exceptional grip with particularly simple installation. It can be repositioned if fitted incorrectly and removed without leaving marks on the handlebars, making it suitable for both experienced cyclists and beginners. Available in a 2,100 mm length and 30 mm width.

Two thicknesses meet different needs: the AERO model (golf-ball style) at 3 mm prioritises comfort and vibration absorption, while the HEXA model at 1.8 mm delivers a finer feel and a more direct ride.

EKOI Perf HOLOGRAPHIC: custom style and 3 mm comfort

The HOLOGRAPHIC TAPE combines comfort, performance and custom styling thanks to its holographic reflections that catch the light and enhance the bike’s appearance. Its 3 mm PU thickness provides excellent cushioning and helps reduce road vibrations.

Offered in four colours, in a 2,200 mm length and 30 mm width, it includes aluminium Star Plugz bar-end plugs as well as a matching finishing tape, for a complete and durable installation.

EKOI Perf GRIP: powerful grip and maximum control

The third family in the collection, the STREAM GRIP TAPE is aimed at cyclists looking above all for powerful grip and maximum control of the handlebars, especially during hard efforts or on descents where an uncompromising hold is essential.

Whether you ride on road or on gravel, this bar tape completes the EKOI range for disciplines where precise control takes priority over pure comfort.
