As part of its move into the USA, Ekoï's customization workshops have designed a personalized version of the AR14 helmet, special COLORADO.
The flag of this central US state is featured on the upper rear section of the helmet. Blue represents the sky, yellow (gold) represents mineral wealth, white the snow that covers the mountains and red is the red of the Colorado River.

Worn by riders on today's top cycling teams (Israel Premier-Tech, Cofidis, Arkéa-B&B Hôtels, Lotto-Dstny...), the Ekoï AR14 helmet combines protection, ergonomics, aerodynamics, versatility and design.
Meeting the most stringent standards*, the AR14 helmet has been designed to provide optimum protection in the event of impact. Particular attention has been paid to the rear of the helmet, to offer even greater protection against the rock.
Ergonomically, the ventilated straps maximize sweat evacuation from the temples; the coolmax foams provide maximum "softness" for the skull and dry quickly; and the magnetic buckle ensures optimum practicality.
The helmet has been wind-tunnel tested and approved with one objective in mind: to offer the best air penetration coefficient. An invaluable asset for all speed-seeking riders, especially in competition.
In use, the Ekoï AR14 helmet is ultra-versatile. Its excellent aerodynamic/ventilation/weight balance makes it suitable for a wide range of riders. Proof of its versatility: it is worn by over 250 professional athletes worldwide, in all major disciplines (road, triathlon, mountain bike).
In terms of design, the lines have been drawn, modeled and "sculpted" to marry aerodynamic performance with aesthetic curves.
- Aerodynamically designed and wind-tunnel tested.
- 195 grams in size S (one of the lightest aero helmets on the market).
- ATOP occipital support: the ATOP knob enables micrometric adjustment of the occipital support. Precise and easy to use, it allows the helmet to be adjusted to the millimeter with just one hand.
- The occipital support can also be adjusted up and down on the occiput to optimize helmet fit.

- Size S 52-54 cm: weight 195 g (0.4lbs)
- Size M 55-58 cm: weight 210 g. (0.46lbs)
- Size L 59-61 cm: weight 245 g. (0.54lbs)
- Road racing or triathlon, this helmet is designed for speed, but can also be worn to protect against the cold and rain, and is worn by racers in wet weather and during early-season classics.

Looks great. Fit's well. The only odd thing is that at about 65 kph, the helmet actually starts to lift. Probably not common but kind of disconcerting.

This Helmet rock, very light and style is to the roof not to mentioned the bag to avoid dust and scratches but most of all very affordable. Lastly, shipping is terrific as compared to other items I bought in Europe take a month to arrived but Ekoï less than a week is perfect.

Comfortable and light. Vents well for an aero helmet. I was worried I’d be hot with the “lack” of vents. But the air flows nicely and vents well. And that in summer Florida heat.
