EKOI AND ITS OWN

I was really happy to see these thousands visitors literally panicking at the Ekoi pavilion during the Roc d'Azur! A happiness that I want to share with all Ekoi employees and champions as a tribute to their support, their adherence to our values and above all their incredible loyalty.

For the entire large Ekoi family, this is the affirmation of an original concept that has been ours for more than twenty years, mostly with the desire to offer the best with the best for all and all cyclists.

On the Roc d'Azur 2022, the great return of cycling after gloomy years dedicated to the pathetic Covid 19 pandemic, we had the illustration of this success : as a guarantee of success obviously, but also as the realization of a beautiful dream of share.

Roc D'azur

Evoking then our fruitful exchanges with exceptional characters such as Fumy Beppu or Philippe Gilbert, I feel like i can make all dream on style, performance, Legend and friendship… All that makes cycling real, the one we love, the one we work for at Ekoi… Lead by the passion of a team that goes beyond the banal work to a much more rewarding notion of ‘mission’.

Nice trip to all!

Philippe Gilbert

They were t often spectacular because acquired after long breakaways or uphill sprints against opponents like Alejandro Valverde, Davide Rebellin or Danilo Di Luca, "Phil" ‘s victories marked the era of an indelible way.

Simple in the city and formidable in the race, this Lord of cycling has always practiced his sport public and sponsors respect in mind, taking on the toughest challenges without ever giving up, overcoming hardships with stubbornness, declining its qualities in memorable attacks, captivating opponents and the public with his panache and his joy of running.

He wrote on the road the wonderful chapters of his exceptional sports saga with heroic episodes worthy of a Jack London story, such as his epic victory in the 2017 Ronde or his arrival in Roubaix in 2019, the glorious summit constituted by his title of World Champion on the road in 2012…Ten years ago already.

While the warrior has just retired from champion, he remembers with melancholy the nickname given him by the Gazzetta dello Sport after his victory over Ballan and Cunego in the Strade Bianche, the Italian Paris Roubaix: "Gilbert, the God of last mile… And he hesitates when asked about the best jersey of his career… The Rainbow or the black-yellow-red tricolor of Belgium Champion ? Doesn't really matter, especially since his exit from the stage is accompanied by the publication of his autobiography. A great book entitled “Phil Gilbert, My life, my story.

Philippe Gilbert

Incomparable champion image for Ekoi, Phil the magnificent has become a familiar face in the Fréjus showroom taking advantage of his regular visits to talk to technicians and stylists… Giving his opinion with relevance, suggesting changes, evoking projects while welcoming passing cyclists with pleasure.
