The day after his 29th birthday and thanks to a feline stride, Felix won alone and against the wind in a remarkable pace of 2:48min/km, or 28:02min. STRADE BIANCHE 15 sectors of white gravel roads (71.2 kms), 215 kilometres, 3674 metres of ascent, start and finish in the Piazza del Campo. The 18th edition of the Strade Bianche lived up to all its promises. Offensive throughout the race, 24-year-old Belgian puncheur Maxim Van Gils of Lotto-Dstny took a strong third place in this atypical World Tour event. Le coureur monégasque de la formation espagnole Burgos BH remporte la 6ème étape du Tour of Turkiye, après une course collective particulièrement maîtrisée. Dans un final marqué par une chute dans les 2 derniers kilomètres et des sections pavées, moins d'une demi douzaine de coureurs peuvent prétendre à la victoire. The Tour de Vendée, last round of the Coupe de France FDJ, will remain in collective memories for being the first race won by Arnaud Démarre under his new colors. On the occasion of Laurent Pichon's (Arkéa-Samsic) last stand before his sporting retirement, the entire red and black team was mobilized to put the new sprinter from the Breton house into orbit. Assuming their responsibilities very early in the race, the teammates of Clément Russo (Arkéa-Samsic) controlled the breakaways and led a strong pace as they approached the final circuit. Well carried into the final hectometers and also benefiting from the work of his former training, Arnaud Démarre shows himself to be the fastest and offers himself a first bouquet in the Arkéa jersey. Arnaud De Lie (Lotto-Dstny), during the Lotto Famenne Ardenne Classic

Some races remain in the annals for a striking image... there is no doubt that the 5th edition of the Lotto Famenne Ardenne Classic will be a landmark, due to the legendary last 50 meters. Despite several attacks throughout the 188 kilometers of the course, it was ultimately a sprint that won. At 200 meters, despite being poorly placed at the start of the final run and not taking advantage of his training, Arnaud de Lie decided to move off to the left side of the road, completely into the wind. We are heading towards a force demonstration as the young Belgian quickly takes 2 then 3 bike advance, when suddenly he takes off his shoes... In reality, he breaks his hold and ends up on one leg. Only a few centimeters from the line, he launches his bike to win. At the same time, he almost falls heavily against the railings. What a surreal image! Arnaud De Lie (Lotto-Dstny) in full control on the Franco-Belgian circuit

The men in shape at the end of the season were there for the 82nd edition of the Circuit Franco-Berge and they held their place... Take a tiring 190 kilometer race with no less than 14 climbs and add a bumpy finish... shake up the peloton and you applaud the boss on this type of course on the line: Arnaud de Lie! With one lap to go, the 21-year-old Belgian manages to keep up with the infernal pace imposed by his opponents. Finally, around fifteen men presented themselves at the foot of Mont-de-L'Enclus, justice of the peace for the day. 150 meters from the line, in the final meters including percentages, he produces his effort and lets his power speak. Easy, he won with two bikes in advance, allowing himself the luxury of getting up completely in the last 25 meters. Corbin Strong (Israel-Premier Tech) finished 3rd. What can we say other than that the French paratriathlete is simply unstoppable in his category. During the World Championships held in Pontevedra (Spain), he once again disgusted the competition by winning in front of his compatriot Pierre-Antoine Baele. Although having experienced a mechanical problem on the bike part, the 37-year-old from Normandy won a 6th world title, series in progress and logically obtained his qualification for the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games. Also note the coronation in their category of Elise Marc and Jules Ribstein. The French Paratriathlon team is ending the season in style and is already dreaming of laurels for next year.
