Thomas Silva takes a historic win on Stage 2 of the Giro d'Italia and pulls on the iconic Maglia Rosa. Thanks to superb teamwork from XDS Astana, Silva powered to an uphill sprint in Veliko Tarnovo, becoming the first Uruguayan rider to win a stage and take the Giro GC lead. A textbook lead-out from teammate Christian Scaroni set up the decisive move before Thomas kicked for the line. Proudly backed by Ekoï, the riders raced with the new Ekoï Magnetic sunglasses and the full Ekoï race kit throughout this landmark victory. The team's official jersey is available online. This win marks Ekoï's 24th Giro d'Italia stage victory.

Harold Tejada (XDS Astana) won Stage 6 of Paris–Nice solo after an attack near the summit of the final climb, holding a six-second gap over the chasers to take the first WorldTour win of his career. Despite a mechanical 25 km from the line, his team brought him back into the peloton before the final ascent. “I’d been waiting for this one for a long time… it’s the most important win of my career”, said the Colombian.

The rider from the XDS Astana Team, Max Kanter, took the win on Stage 2 of Paris–Nice. Kanter won the bunch sprint after superb teamwork and a textbook lead-out from Mike Teunissen in the final kilometre of the stage. For Max Kanter, this victory is his first win at UCI WorldTour level, while for XDS Astana Team, it is the team’s first win at this level in the 2026 season. Winner’s statement: "Paris–Nice is a very prestigious race, and winning a stage here is something incredible (...) The final kilometres were pretty hectic and with 2 km to go we lost a lot of positions. My teammate Mike Teunissen kept his cool and I trusted him. He delivered a phenomenal last kilometre, and dropped me off with 200 metres to go. After that, I just emptied the tank."

Stage and overall for our rider Christian Scaroni! Italian climber Christian Scaroni of the XDS Astana squad powered to victory at the finish of the 5th and final stage of the Tour of Oman (2.Pro), atop Jabal Al Akhdar after a 155.9 km flat run from Nizwa, before the brutal 5.7 km summit finish at 10.4% average gradient, regarded as the toughest in the Middle East with ramps between 17 and 19%. In the final standings, he secures the overall by 24 seconds, while his teammate Christian Rodriguez slots into second on the podium. Bravo to both Christians!

Rock solid! 25-year-old Baptiste Veistroffer underlined his potential by bagging his first pro win on Stage 2 of the Tour of Oman. A breakaway specialist, the hallmark of his attacking baroudeur profile, he’s nicknamed the “Boar” for his powerful, offensive style. The Lotto Intermarché rider is likened to Thomas De Gendt for his raw power, even if he’s still honing his tactical sense. « Someone in the staff told me I was stronger than Thomas De Gendt, but not as clever. I’m trying to improve that. », he confides. On Sunday, he perfectly blended good legs and race smarts, taking a solo win after a breakaway launched right from kilometer zero, kitted out with the EKOÏ R-AERO helmet and S-AERO sunglasses.

Luxembourger Mathieu Kockelmann (LOTTO-INTERMARCHE) won the second stage of the Étoile de Bessèges after a razor-thin sprint, pipping Dutchman Dylan Groenewegen on the line.

Biniam Girmay (NSN CYLING TEAM) hit the ground running in his first race in EKOÏ, taking the opening stage of the Volta Comunitat Valenciana 2026 in a bunch sprint. First race, first win for the 25-year-old Eritrean, who edged it at the end of an extremely tight finale, ending more than a year without a victory. Initially identified as the best opportunity for a bunch sprint, the stage was made more complex by an unexpected attack from the GC leaders on the Puerto Los Madriños. The team nevertheless kept things under control thanks to a big collective effort and to Girmay’s ideal positioning in the finale. This success is all the more symbolic for the sprinter, so often second last season: « It took me more than a year to get back to winning… I’m super happy and motivated, and it gives me a lot of confidence. » Victorious in his season debut, Girmay pulls on the leader’s jersey, a reward he dedicates to his teammates, saluting « a perfect job right up to the final kilometer ». The newly formed NSN Cycling Team notched their very first win of the season thanks to Ethan Vernon, who powered to a commanding victory on stage 4 of the Tour Down Under in Willunga. After two frustrating bunch sprints in the opening stages, the script finally favored the British sprinter. The stage four route change, with Willunga Hill removed due to extreme weather, handed the fast men another opportunity — one Vernon seized perfectly. Determined to deliver NSN its first win in the new colors, Ethan Vernon launched his uphill sprint at the perfect moment to take a clear victory, while his teammate Brady Gilmore bagged 4th. « I really wanted to win here and kickstart the season in the best possible way. It’s a new team, a new project, new partners. Being the first winner in this jersey is something very special », said Vernon. Despite a tough day, marked by the DNFs of Jake Stewart (broken collarbone) and Corbin Strong, the team showed great adaptability and exemplary communication to turn things around and go for the win. The Belgian prodigy Jarno Widar (Lotto) clinched the U23 European champion title solo, equipped with the Ekoï AR14 helmet and Premium sunglasses. At only 19 years old, he confirms his immense potential already glimpsed at the Tour de l’Avenir. Arnaud De Lie (Lotto) claimed victory at the Super 8 Classic, a one-day race of 200.7 km between Brakel and Haacht, in Belgium. He edged out Matthew Brennan in a tight sprint finish. This win marks Arnaud's third triumph in a few weeks (Renewi Tour and Grand Prix de Wallonie)! The Lotto team played a crucial role in this victory, with an effective team strategy that positioned De Lie perfectly for the final sprint. Well done*, Matthew! At just 22 years old, Matthew Riccitello made his mark on the 2025 edition of the Vuelta by capturing the white jersey as the best young rider. The American rider from the I-Premier Tech team showcased impressive consistency over the three weeks of racing. Despite cold and rainy conditions in Harstad, the IPT team achieved a one-two finish. A Finish Tailored for Him As in his Wallonia victory, the finish line was on an uphill curve. Perfectly launched by Tom Van Asbroeck, Strong secured his third win of the season, with Sheehan right behind him. After Olivia Onesti's title two weeks ago, another triumphant weekend for the Ekoï riders. In Germany, Ronja Eibl (Origine Racing Division) grabs the title in short-track, while in Italy, Martina Berta (Origine Racing Division) retains her crown in XCO among the Elite, alongside Giorgia Pellizotti (Trinx Factory Racing), who was victorious in the U19 category. In Spain, David Valero breaks all records with a tenth title in XCO (within an impressive BH Coloma quadruple) and secures a double in short-track. Also with BH Coloma, the Argentinian Cabriel Soto claims the national title in short-track. Finally, a big congratulations to Zoé Fayolle who becomes Junior French champion in downhill.

Jarno Widar, 2nd consecutive victory The Belgian Jarno Widar (19 years old, [Lotto] team) added another achievement to his palmarès by winning the prestigious Tour du Val d’Aoste for the second time, one of the main races in the U23 calendar. 3 stages and 3'50'' lead overall Widar claimed victory in the 3rd, 4th, and 5th stages, which allowed him to secure the overall classification with a significant lead. In the 5th and final stage, he triumphed in a sprint finish at Breuil Cervinia, after a 119.5-kilometer route featuring a final climb of 25 km at 5.7% gradient. In the final general classification, Widar leads over the Ecuadorian Mateo Pablo Ramirez ([UAE Emirates]) by 3 minutes 50, while the Frenchman Jean-Loup Fayolle ([Arkéa-B&B Hôtels]) takes 3rd place at 4 minutes 33. A race in mourning The 2nd stage of the race was canceled following the tragic death of Samuele Privitera, a young 19-year-old Italian rider ([Hagens-Berman-Jayco]), which occurred after a crash during the first stage. An already impressive palmarès Jarno Widar confirms his status as a promising talent in cycling. Besides the Tour du Val d’Aoste (2024, 205), he boasts prestigious victories such as Liège-Bastogne-Liège, La Flèche Ardennaise, and the Ronde de l’Isard in 2025. Derek succeeds Michael... The maple leaf jersey changes shoulders but stays within the same team. Gee just clinched the title of Canadian road race champion, succeeding his teammate Mike Woods. An IPT Double The 199-kilometer race was marked by a decisive breakaway formed by Gee, Hugo Houle, and Luke Valenti, all from the IPT team. Taking advantage of their numerical superiority, Gee and Houle launched several attacks. Gee executed the decisive attack before the fifth and final lap, quickly creating a gap of 1 minute 30 until the finish in St-Georges. Behind, Houle takes the second place. With his second place, the Frenchman once again makes the Ekoï colors shine and edges closer to his first World Cup victory. Leading the race for a long time, he was caught shortly before the final lap and ultimately had to concede to the Chilean Martín Vidaurre.

Bravo Kévin, you impressed us at the Tour de Suisse! Leader for three days after a solid mountain stage, he resisted attacks from Alaphilippe and Almeida, and finished the penultimate stage in third place. In the final time trial, he relinquished the yellow jersey and ultimately finished 2nd overall. This performance confirms his promising future in the Tour de France. Congratulations Vincenzo! During the second stage of the Tour de Suisse, Vincenzo Albanese, rider of the EF Education-EasyPost team, claimed victory in a particularly demanding uphill finish, expertly managing his sprint on the slopes of Schwarzsee. Albanese seized the opportunity in the final kilometer to play his personal card and secure his first WorldTour victory at 28 years old. Albanese, well positioned in the slipstream of Lewis Askey, launched his sprint 200 meters from the line and no one could match him. The Italian rider was wearing the Ekoï Racing C12 Pro Team shoes, designed to offer maximum power transfer and optimal precision during the effort.
