Nairo Quintana finishes 5th on Paris-Nice final classification

For his first UCI WorldTour race of the 2022 season, Nairo Quintana took 5th place. An excellent start to the season after winning 4 times. Fifth in Paris-Nice, Nairo Quintana enabled the Arkea-Samsic team to sign the best result in its history in this event. The Colombian had taken 6th place in 2020.

"I finished 5th in Paris-Nice, which is a very big race on the UCI WorldTour calendar. The Arkea-Samsic team has done a good job again. I feel that the good feelings are coming. This year I am in contact with the best, this gives me confidence for the next race that is coming, which I know well and which I have already won: the Tour of Catalonia.
