From the Côte de Granit Rose in the Côtes d´Armor, Alan Riou is a young 100% Breton runner.
He proved himself among the cadets during the French Future Championship in Albi where he ranked 4th in the sprint in 2013, at the same time as Elie Gesbert achieved the double in the juniors. The two men do their training in the same club: at Team Pays de Dinan.
Alan joined the Brittany club for our team last year. In 2017, he ranked third at the Grand Prix D’Isbergues and provided valuable points to help the team win the French Cup.
Last year he won more than ten amateur races & won the "Tour de l'Avenir". He starts 2019 as a professional in the Arkea Samsic Team, with the desire to learn alongside big names & perform as quickly as possible.
