As he had just finished his successful career on the roads of the Vuelta, the Italian champion came to greet the Ekoi Team in Fréjus. A gesture of friendship and loyalty.

His signature will now appear forever on ‘’the wall of honor’’ at Ekoi showroom in Fréjus. Fabio Aru, faithful in friendship, wanted to come once again to greet Jean-Christophe Rattel and the entire Ekoi Team. Ekoi will indeed have accompanied him during a large part of his professional career. A career particularly marked by an Italian Champion title and a Vuelta Victory… But also by several stage victories in the big tours, including a yellow Jersey at top of the Planche des Belles Filles on The Tour.

Well known for his climber qualities and his generosity in the effort, the Sardinian Champion had been noticed by Maestro Ernesto Colnago himself, and part of the UAE Teamalongside Tadej Pogacar. But after several seasons of inexplicable misform, he preferred to announce his retirement to stay with his family and calmly consider a new career away from the pelotons.
He will be remembered as a generous athlete and an endearing man, loyal to his supporters and partners. Ekoi wishes him all the best in his new life.

During the recent Roc d'Azur, Victor Koretzky came to visit us at our stand. The opportunity for him to sign autographs and come back in a video for Top Vélo on his meeting with J.C Rattel and his collaboration with Ekoï which started in 2016.

Victor is telling us how he works with our teams to develop the products he uses throughout the season. He also looks back on his next season and his switch from mountain biking to the road.
