Cycling Shoes EKOI R4 EVO WHITE

Ordered these and received my order within 4 working days here in Tasmania, great service! They are my best fitting shoes. I have a wider foot and they fit perfect.

Ordered these from Australia after some backwards and forwards with Dan (Ekoi) to make sure if the size and return policy. They arrived from Nice, France in 4 days yes 4 days.

Perfect fit 42 as per the spec, comfortable and I look forward to racing I them.

Before ordering I read in the comments that some people had to go up a notch in terms of size, and because of that I did,... unfortunately. Dang!!! I shouldn't have read those misleading comments. I usually wear 42 and ordered 43, after reading some comments. Result, they are way too large and too long. So much so that I think even my regular size 42 would be too large. Now I started thinking of going one size smaller than usual, 41. Then I came back to read more comments and I realized that some people also mentioned that they had to go smaller. So it seems to be a split opinion here. At this moment it's Friday night and I'm waiting for customer support to come back at me withe their suggestion. Hopefully the next pair will be the right one. And one more thing. I don't want to be the hater here but I ordered them in white, and the pair I received are yellowish, not at all like the picture, like if they would have been exposed under the sun for many years. I don't know if they are all like that?!? I'll come back to give the outcome of my situation when I receive my next ones. I live in Canada. Let see if the service is better than our prim minister. Impossible to be worst.

I like long rides with lots of elevation. Invariably, my feet start hurting around Km 100 (mile 60). I’ve tried Sidi, Fizik, Shimano, and DMT. Finally I’ve found a pair that works. Very happy.

I wasn’t sure to buy these since a Carbon sole shoe sells for well over 200 dolares but this shoe looks great and feels pretty good. Lets hope it last a couple of years

Finaly tested my EKOI R4 EVO cycling shoes and these are so far the best performance road cycling shoes I’ve had. Good comfort, low weight and stunning looks, with a super-stiff carbon sole, all at a very nice prive. I’m very pleased with them.

I've been wearing these for the past 8 months and these are by far one of the best bargains one can find for a fairly stiff, fairly lightweight cycling shoe. You can spend 3-4 times the money and get something fancier and slightly better, but the performance will only be marginally improved. Of course, you can't brag to your cycling buddies that you spent $450 on a pair of cycling shoes....that's the big downside (or upside in my opinion).

The only reason I didn't give this 5 stars is the sizing was off for me. I followed the size chart and they were on the smallish size. I sent them back for 44. That being said I usually wear USA between 9.5 and 10. My toes were being squished with the 43. I would say if you're between 9 and 9.5 go with the 43. I exchanged for 44. To be perfectly honest I would be an ideal 43.5 but that isn't EKOI's fault by any means. Customer service is a solid 5 stars. I can say that the 1 time free return is brilliant. They have a Canadian office so they automated shipping return label was generated and within 7 days I had my new replacement pair. Very impressed. Now that I know what my ideal size is, I will purchase more shoes in the future. Ohh one last thing. I have to say these shoes are somewhat wide and very nice wiggle room for the toes. I am still getting used to the ATOP lacing system. I've read that some previous reviews say that it loosens, I don't know about that. I wore them yesterday for the first time on my trainer. I had to re-tighten but I think it has to do with the padded top and new insole still being cushy and not broken in yet. Like I said it's my first pair and first time dealing with EKOI and I am very satisfied. Thank you

I have been riding Sidi's for 20 years and due for a new pair since my Velcro was not holding anymore. I picked up these R4's on sale. I have been riding them on the trainer the last few weeks and they are very comfortable. For sizing I rode Sidi in a 45.5M (mega) and most of my daily shoes are a US size 11. Since the R4 is in only whole sizes, I opted for the 46 since I also use a thick orthotic. They are slightly bigger than the Sidis with a thin summer sock but this is good for using a heavy winter sock. Overall I am super happy with the shoes.

Really good shoes for a good price. only real criticism is the soles could benefit from a non-slip surface on the toe and heel for when you have to dismount

Finally replaced my cycling shoes I have had for quite some time. I wish I would have looked at these sooner. Very light shoe that fits well with 2 BOA systems making tightening to just the right fit simple. Shoes are very comfortable so far on the rides I have done so far. Would recommend for sure.

The quality of these shoes seems really good out of the box. Unfortunately the size 45 was too big but the return process has been fantastically simple. Pretty amazing considering these came from the EU and I'm in the US. I would definitely buy more things from Ekoi! Great value for the money!
