EKOI Perf GARA MIPS White Helmet
The ultralight Ekoï Gara helmet was designed with 5 objectives: protection, comfort, weight, ventilation, design.
Protection remains the first priority of a helmet, and the Ekoï Gara model must protect effectively in case of impact. We have reinforced the helmet against lateral impacts (the most dangerous), optimized the model with a shape adapted for better rock protection, and added the MIPS AIR® system.
Comfort is also crucial because our pro teams wear the helmet almost every day, whether in races or training. The 3 sizes of the model allow for a close fit to the head.
Lightweight is essential for both the 293 pro Ekoï athletes who wear it and our customers. A good helmet should be left unnoticed.
The 20 vents of this helmet allow airflow even in the hottest temperatures.
It was designed in Italy in consultation with some riders from our pro teams and our Ekoï designers.
It has been adopted by the pro teams BURGOS BH / ST MICHEL MAVIC AUBER93 / NICE METROPOLE COTE D'AZUR / CIC U NANTES ATLANTIQUE, giving us the certainty of offering you one of the best helmets in the world.
Equipped with the MIPS AIR® system
The MIPS AIR® system is designed to reduce head rotation movement during certain angular impacts.
MIPS AIR® has been specifically developed and designed to be the lightest possible system to reduce rotational energies transferred to the head during specific angular impacts.
MIPS AIR® replaces the traditional foams of the Gara and allows a relative movement of 10 to 15 mm between the helmet and the cyclist's head.
Optimal ventilation
The front vents optimize the influx of fresh air while the rear vents allow heat and humidity to escape.
Micrometric adjustment
The occipital retention is also adjustable from bottom to top on the occiput to optimize helmet retention.

I'm pleased with the overall value of the items I purchased. The Gara Mips helmet is very comfortable and the lightest I've owned, you just forget you're wearing a helmet. The delivery could have been faster and more efficient: it spent 2 days in France and I had some issues with the delivery to a locking cabinet (full or error in the code provided to UPS), I ultimately was able to solve the issue contacting UPS locally and picked up the item directly from the driver near the locking cabinet

De helm past perfect. Nieuwe helm moeten kopen na een ongeval. De helm bij het ongeval was ook een helm van Ekoi. Hij heeft mij super goed beschermd. Daarom heb ik zonder te twijfelen hier een nieuwe gekocht. Super kwaliteit.

Comfortable helmet, although the padding could be a bit thicker (this should not be a deterrent to purchasing). Very well ventilated. The adjustment of the strap under the ears is very easy and efficient.

I’ve been struggling to find a helmet that would not make me look like a mushroom and offers the latest in security. I tried Kask Mojito, Lazer G1, POC Omne, and many other helmets and none fits like the Ekoi Gara. It looks great on pics and on your head. I wear size L, my head is oval-shaped, and I’m a little overweight, so it’s really difficult to find anything that would look sleek and streamlined on my head. The Gara is the winner. Oh and it’s very light and comfortable and snug. Fits like a glove!

It looks like a great value helmet: light (248g size M 237g size S). The magnetic buckle is a deal breaker for me in all ekoi helmets. I like the look and fill and how they sit on the head. Also, it's the best value for money MIPS equipment on the market.

So I actually finished up with a medium after great return/exchange service from Manon at Ekoi and Ming at MC2 sports. very pleased - spent 4 days on the bike with the helmet riding the Bourbon Country Burn, ~300+miles of riding over 4 days, very comfortable, well ventilated. - One of the strap clamps broke off so I am awaiting replacement but that did not make the helmet nonfunctional.
