EKOÏ 2026: New Releases and Exclusives
EKOÏ reaffirms its commitment by supporting pro teams across the biggest races on the WorldTour calendar. From the Tour de France to the Giro d'Italia, via La Vuelta and the great Classics, EKOÏ products are developed, race-tested and validated in the heat of competition before being offered to every rider.
In 2026, EKOÏ keeps pushing innovation with several new products that expand its Racing universe. The R2 CARBON, a new helmet built for long climbs and scorching conditions, joins the R-AERO, the brand’s benchmark for aerodynamics, while the new range of Racing carbon wheels – AEROLIGHT, ULTIMA Super Light and ULTIMA Fast – meets the needs of rouleurs, climbers and time-trial specialists.
DEFY THE NORM isn’t just a tagline.
It’s the constant drive to challenge established standards to deliver ever more high-performance, innovative and accessible kit to riders worldwide.
EKOÏ at the heart of the Tour de France!
The Tour de France is the can’t-miss rendezvous of the cycling season. Once again this year, EKOÏ will be in the thick of the Grande Boucle, alongside its three partner teams: XDS Astana, NSN Cycling Team and Lotto–Intermarché.
Three teams. Three identities. One and the same demand for performance.
- XDS Astana will roll out equipped with EKOÏ apparel and eyewear. For the occasion, the riders will wear an exclusive edition of the new ARIA sunglasses, specially developed in the team’s colors. This model features exclusive team-name etching and will come in a XDS Astana-branded box set, also including a spare lens to suit all light conditions. This collector’s pack, identical to the one used by the riders, will also be available for the general public.
- NSN Cycling Team will be kitted out with EKOÏ apparel, helmets and eyewear. Like Lotto–Intermarché, the team will tailor its helmet choice to each stage profile to optimize rider performance. The R AERO helmet will be used on most stages, the PURE AERO will be reserved for the two time trials, while the all-new R2 CARBON, unveiled for the 2026 Tour, will equip the riders on the mountain stages. Thanks to its premium construction with a carbon shell, its ultra-light weight of just 238 g and exceptional ventilation, the R2 Carbon hits the sweet spot between low weight, comfort and performance. It will go on sale at the end of 2026 (more information available below).
- Lotto–Intermarché will wear EKOÏ helmets and eyewear.
Ambitions on every terrain
After an outstanding Giro d’Italia, marked by multiple stage wins and a constant presence at the front, XDS Astana will take on the Tour de France aiming to keep that momentum. Riders such as Harold Tejada, Sergio Higuita, Simone Velasco, Davide Ballerini, Mike Teunissen and Aaron Gate will be eager to shine across the different stages of the Grande Boucle.
At NSN Cycling Team, all eyes will be on Biniam Girmay, returning to the Tour with the goal of contesting the bunch sprints and going after the green jersey. He will be supported by Jake Stewart, Lewis Askey, Taco van Asbroeck, Kārlis Neilands and Marco Frigo.
For Lotto–Intermarché, Arnaud De Lie will be one of the team’s heavy-hitters for the bunch finishes. A true benchmark of Belgian sprinting, he’ll target stage wins against the world’s best sprinters, while Lennert Van Eetvelt brings his ambitions on the hillier stages.
A stronger presence in the peloton
Beyond its partner teams, EKOÏ will also support several riders wearing its shoes, including Guillaume Martin (Groupama–FDJ), Clément Russo (Groupama–FDJ) and Alex Aranburu (Cofidis).
This presence confirms the trust placed in EKOÏ equipment by riders of all profiles, from climbers to sprinters, including stage hunters.
See you on the roads of the Tour de France!
Between the sprints, mountain stages and breakaways, EKOÏ will support its teams and riders at the heart of the biggest cycling event of the season, once again confirming its commitment at the highest level of world cycling. The R2 CARBON helmet: EKOÏ’s new helmet built for the mountains
A new helmet dedicated to long climbs and scorching conditions
With the RACING R2 CARBON, EKOÏ expands its Racing range with a new helmet specifically developed for long ascents and competitions held in high temperatures.
While the R AERO remains the brand’s benchmark for aerodynamics, the R2 CARBON takes a different approach to performance. Its development is based on a balance of low weight, ventilation and aerodynamic efficiency to meet the demands of climbers and riders racing in the heat.
Key numbers:
- 238 g: an optimized weight for long climbs.
- +19.6% ventilation compared with other helmets.
In the mountains, performance doesn’t depend solely on aerodynamics. Weight, heat management and comfort also become decisive factors as the effort goes on.
This is what led to the creation of the R2 CARBON. EKOÏ’s R&D teams developed a helmet able to maintain excellent aerodynamic efficiency while significantly improving rider cooling during prolonged efforts.
Thermal management at the heart of the design
The main innovation of the R2 CARBON lies in its ability to improve rider cooling.
Measurements taken during development show a 19.6% increase in the Heat Transfer Coefficient (HTC) compared to other helmets on the market.
In practical terms, this improvement promotes better airflow around the scalp and speeds up heat dissipation during efforts. Internal simulations indicate up to 1°C of extra cooling at scalp level.
Real-world gains
On a one-hour climb at 28°C, EKOÏ’s simulations estimate that the cooling improvement could represent a performance gain of between 0.5% and 1.5%. These results suggest that, in certain use conditions, the thermal benefit can offset the very small aerodynamic deficit observed in the lab.
Best for:
- Long climbs
- Mountain routes
- Hot-weather rides
A new answer to climbers’ demands
With the RACING R2 CARBON, EKOÏ completes its Racing range by offering a solution specifically designed for long climbs and hot conditions. Alongside the R AERO, the brand’s benchmark for aero performance, the R2 CARBON provides a different answer to competitors’ expectations: a lighter, more ventilated helmet designed to preserve performance when heat management becomes a key factor in the effort.

Marion Rousse x EKOÏ: a new capsule collection engineered for women’s performance
An exclusive collection co-created with Marion Rousse
After the success of their first collaboration, Marion Rousse and EKOÏ unveil a new limited-edition capsule, designed to support cyclists on every ride with the perfect balance of innovation, comfort and elegance.
Developed with the expertise of Marion Rousse, Race Director of the Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift and a former pro rider, this new range brings together all the essentials of a high-performance kit: Signature Jersey, Signature Bib Shorts, Outlast® base layers and Outlast® socks.
Technology in the service of comfort
Outlast® technology is at the heart of this collection. Featured on the jersey, base layers and socks, it actively regulates body temperature by absorbing excess heat and then releasing it when the body cools. This helps limit perspiration, improves comfort and maintains a more stable body temperature throughout the effort.
- Signature Jersey: Outlast® technology, seamless aero sleeves, women-specific fit and premium finishes for optimal comfort kilometer after kilometer.
- Signature Bib Shorts: Racing cut in compressive UPF 50+ fabric, women-specific 8H pad, gel inserts and an ultra-breathable mesh back for long rides.
- Outlast® base layers: a first technical layer that promotes thermoregulation and moisture wicking, whatever the conditions.
- Outlast® socks: lightweight, breathable and thermoregulating to keep feet dry and at the ideal temperature while you push on the pedals.
Each piece has been designed to work in perfect harmony to offer maximum comfort, performance and freedom of movement.
A collection imagined by a woman, for women
This capsule reflects the vision of cycling championed by Marion Rousse: offering women premium, elegant and high-performance kit, integrating the same technical innovations used by the top athletes in the pro peloton.
