Developed in collaboration with Julien Absalon, the XC C4 combines the stiffness of a 100% carbon sole with even support, with no pressure points.

Take the measurement while wearing a cycling sock
You may notice that your right and left foot are different lengths. Always measure both feet and use the longer measurement as your reference. If you are between two sizes after consulting the chart, we recommend choosing the larger size.

FITTING ADVICE & FREE RETURNS
In the event of a sizing issue, returns are free. For a smooth return process, try your shoes indoors on a clean surface (ideally on a carpet) so they remain in perfect condition during fitting. Also, make sure to wear socks to avoid marking the insoles.
Returns are only accepted for products that meet the following conditions:
- Shoes must never have been worn outdoors. Cleats must never have been mounted on the shoes.
- Shoes must be in new condition.
- Shoes must be returned in the original packaging in good condition, inside a properly sealed parcel.
- Shoes must be returned within 14 days of receiving the order.

My very first ride on this shoe was 6 hours on a road bike, and it was extremely comfortable. My foot measures 27.8cm, I went with a 45, and it is a bit on the large side (as expected based on sizing chart) . I did not want to risk a tight fit because returning it was not an option. 44 would probably work as well, but I'm happy with the 45, especially since it's a narrow shoe and I prefer room in the toe box. I'm coming from a Recon S-Works lace (also 45, which I really enjoy), and I highly recommend the XC C4. To top it off, the shoe looks amazing. Can't comment on durability, but for now 5 stars.

Comfortable for the most part, the fastening works very smoothly, light and stiff, but the edges of the shoe where it meets your ankle are very stiff. On one of my feet, that stuff edge rubbed on the small bone below the ankle bone. Maybe my feet are just oddly shaped - maybe if yours are normal these shoes will be perfect!

I used them once and will use them a few more times before I give final input. First impression was they look good, are light weight, and are super stiff. A bit difficult to put on and not very comfortable, but I assume that improves as they wear in a bit. My only real concern is that the boa placement on the top caused a lot of numbness in my feet. If this continues I will return them.

Our return policy allows you to return your products in new condition (unworn, unwashed), with tags attached and in their original packaging within 30 days.
