YOUR JANUARY NEWS

Dear EKOÏ community member,

For this new year, on behalf of the entire EKOÏ team I wish you the essentials: health for you and your loved ones, and the freedom to fully live your passion.

I also wanted to thank you. Thank you for your commitment, your loyalty, and your crucial role in EKOÏ’s development.

2026 will be a big year for EKOÏ. A year in which we’ll keep pushing on, true to our philosophy:

A year when EKOÏ will once again surprise you with new products designed for you and driven by a community that, like EKOÏ, refuses the standard.

Thank you for your trust. Let’s roll together into a new year of passion, freedom and sharing.

Jean-Christophe Rattel, founder of EKOÏ

Chapeau, Mathieu!

E-Lens eyewear on, Fréjus-born driver Mathieu Serradori finishes sixth at the 2026 DAKAR, the world’s most prestigious rally raid. He bags stage 10 with panache.

EKOÏ is proud to support Mathieu for several years now. Mathieu is a rider with a hors catégorie profile who made the bold bet to go toe-to-toe with factory teams. And we love those who defy the norm! Bravo again to him!

The record holder for Tour de France stage wins, MARK CAVENDISH (photo #5), came in person to congratulate Mathieu!

VELOFOLLIES SHOW: record turnout at our new "Defy the Norm" booth!

On the occasion of this first international cycling show held in Belgium (Kortrijk), dedicated to gear, brands and bike enthusiasts, we presented our latest new products: wheels, tyres, customizable shoes, the PW8 titanium...

The large crowd enjoyed chatting with our ambassadors Philippe Gilbert, Johan Museeuw and Claudio Chiappucci during friendly autograph sessions.

Biniam Girmay... visiting our offices

We had the pleasure of welcoming Biniam Girmay, who has just joined the ranks of our new WorldTour squad, NSN Cycling Team. The visit of the sprinter with 16 wins and the green jersey at the 2024 Tour de France featured: signing our wall of fame, a fitting session during which Stéphane Rossetto took precise measurements and listened to the rider’s needs, and finally a moment under the lenses and spotlights in our studio. HAVE A GREAT SEASON, BINIAM!

Simon, welcome to EKOÏ...

The young 2025 European MTB downhill champion visited us to formalize the helmet + eyewear, apparel and accessories partnership with EKOÏ. It was an opportunity for him to share, in a 4-minute interview, his goals (the World Cup, the national title, ...), his training, and his feel on EKOÏ products.
By attracting champions like Simon, EKOÏ reaffirms its desire to be the brand that bets on youth on the one hand, and addresses roadies and mountain bikers alike with the same level of high standards on the other.

Jens Voigt, our new ambassador in Germany

EKOÏ is particularly proud to have a new ambassador in Germany. A respected figure in German cycling, Jens Voigt embodies a mindset that speaks to us: commitment, fighting spirit and perseverance. His famous grinta, forged by 17 years at the highest level, echoes EKOÏ’s vision: demanding, authentic, and grounded performance.

Beyond his palmarès, Jens Voigt is known for his closeness to riders and his honest talk about gear and the craft. His experience and credibility make him a natural ambassador to support EKOÏ’s development in Germany.

INTERVIEW ON OUR YOUTUBE CHANNEL: Ekoï - YouTube

Congratulations to our two cyclo-cross champions, Sara and Marion!

At Ekoï, we love cyclo-cross. It’s a discipline that’s part of cycling’s DNA, often serving up intense racing that ever-growing, up-close crowds relish.

At the national championships, our two riders from the Crelan-Corendon setup (EKOÏ helmets and eyewear), Sara Casasola and Marion Norbet-Riberolle, were crowned—in Italy for the former and in Belgium for the latter.

Explosions of joy on the finish line and huge pride for EKOÏ!

...and to our champions on the road!!!

Three of our riders raised their arms in January: Patrick Eddy (Team Brennan) took the national title in Australia; Chistian Scaroni (XDS ASTANA) won the Clàssica Camp de Morvedre, the first European race of the season; Ethan Vernon claimed stage four of the first UCI race on the calendar in Australia, delivering the maiden victory for our new WorldTour team, NSN CYCLING TEAM!

Bonus... Maxime Marotte tells us why he’s going to ride 32-inch!
