Helmet EKOI Racing PURE AERO Mirror Cat2 Black Holo Red

Was concerned that the helmet would be too small as it only comes in 2 sizes. Am normally a Large and this was a perfect fit.

The helmet is surprisingly light on the head. Magnetic clip is very nice for quick placement and removal.

I time trial, competing in 1 to 2 races per week all over the UK from April through to October.
The design works well when the head is inline with the body and the back is flat. The helmet is wide and fits snugly to the shoulders improving airflow over the shoulders and back.
Comfortable fit and good visibility.
Used for races in 25‘C temperatures and felt comfortable.
Overall a big improvement on my Kask mistral apart from the carrying bag.

I'm generally happy with the helmet. Fit is generally good, but to be in the aero position tight to my back requires completely disregarding the owner manual's instructions about not adjusting it off your forehead. It required adjusting the rear straps substantially shorter and the front ones longer. The website does not say whether the small size has a smaller shell. If it does, then I wish I'd ordered that size. It has been all over the press that the current IM champion used a vented version. Was this from the factory or was it a non-safety tested modification? The helmet is hot, but not horrible. I like the black/orange color scheme as I'm using McLaren colors for my bike and motorcycle. I don't understand the "Note:" input above that was preselected at 5. Assuming it was a 5-star rating, I changed it to 3.

I raced for the first time with my new helmet EKOI Racing PURE AERO Black MIRROR this past weekend on a olympic distance triathlon in the US (Kinetik Multisports Colonial Beach 2025) and I can say I felt the difference!

True fact is that I can feel how the wind is displaced off of my shoulders. The air flows as if the helmet/head and the shoulder/body were a one piece of aerodynamic construction, like a bullet, if that makes sense.

I really could feel the advantage specially while going above 45-50k/h, which is not the majority of the time, but it definitely helped maintaining the speed longer.
Although it has no ventilation holes, the air flows inside the helmet really nicely and it helps with the temperature management.
The vision filed is crazy, it's so wide! You can be tucked in and still see everywhere without having to raise your head, which helps maintaining the aero position and being more efficient.
It handles very well when you turn around to look back or to the sides, it doesn't feel like there's more drag or that it's unstable. It also feels very light.
The magnetic strap system is great! You need to practice a little bit, but then it becomes easy, fast and secure.

I'm very pleased with the performance and it also looks really dope!

Although I'll give it a 5 stars because the main reason I bought it was to improve my bike split, I think a helmet like this one should come with a sturdy hard case. It will make the product a top notch choice, protecting it while traveling as well as extending the life of it.

There's still snow on the ground here in the Yukon, but looking forward to using the helmet this summer. I've tried the helmet on and it's comfortable and visibility is excellent!
