Thanks to its 1:1 ratio (glucose / fructose), it enables optimal carb absorption, supporting energy availability beyond the 90 g/hour required for high-intensity efforts.

Why a 1:1 ratio?
A 1:1 ratio means 1 part glucose to 1 part fructose.
During exercise, glucose absorption from the gut into the bloodstream is limited to about 60–70 g per hour. By adding an equivalent amount of fructose, which uses a different absorption pathway, total carbohydrate uptake can be increased to 100–120 g per hour while improving gut tolerance at higher intakes.
