The Highlights of EKOÏ in August
Women's Tour de France: Julie dons the white jersey!

Just as we were recovering from the excitement of Kevin's superb Tour, we were thrilled once again with Julie Bego, the young and promising rider from Cofidis.
At only 20 years old, she stood out as a true gem in the peloton by wearing, like Kevin, the white jersey for best young rider during the first six stages of the race. This performance, achieved in her very first Tour de France, signals an immense potential.
Federal Week: Ekoï, present at the largest cyclo-tourist gathering in Europe!
.

The 86th International Cyclotourism Federal Week, organized by the French Federation of Cyclotourism (FFCT), took place from August 3 to 10 in Orléans. This event attracted nearly 15,000 participants from all over France and abroad.
Each day featured routes designed in a "flower" shape, radiating from the host city. With several distances, ranging from a few dozen to several hundred kilometers.
Ekoï was present to partake in this major gathering of enthusiasts. Being alongside these thousands of participants embodies our commitment to equip and support both amateurs seeking discovery and high-level athletes in pursuit of performance.
Tour de l'Avenir: Ekoï on all the podiums!

Featuring Ekoï logos (yellow and green jerseys) and PW8 (white and polka-dot jerseys), the four distinctive jerseys offered your brand exceptional visibility throughout this "Tour de France for under 23s". Not a single award ceremony went by without seeing the logos on the winners' jerseys!
Performance highlights: special mentions for Maxime, Mathieu, and Jarno...
French rider Maxime Decomble, equipped with the C12 pro racing shoes, wore the yellow jersey for four days, while Luxembourg's Mathieu Kockelmann (Lotto) claimed the fourth stage. Belgian rising star Jarno Widar (Lotto devo) finished second overall, with two consecutive victories in the mountains and the polka-dot jersey for the best climber!
In Ekoï from head to toe, Axel Carion (our ultra ambassador, creator of Bikingman) and Greg ride 4,400 kms connecting Canada to Mexico on MTB!

26 days of mountain biking to connect Canada to Mexico following the American Continental Divide, nearly 4,400 kms. This is the feat achieved by Axel and Greg in August.
The duo's resilience and determination were admirable, and this two-person journey added an extraordinary dimension to this XXL challenge. After biking solo across the United States in 2024, the creator of the Bikingman label, a hardcore ultra cyclist, realized how sharing such an experience amplifies strength and emotion: "alone we go fast, together we go further," he declared on social media.
Congratulations to them and to Mr. AXXL Carion!
Our prestigious ambassador Philippe Gilbert, 43, qualifies for the Gravel World Championships!

On Saturday, August 30, Phil’ participated in the Houffa Gravel in Houffalize (Belgium), a qualifying round of the UCI Gravel World Series.
On a challenging 141 km course featuring 70% gravel paths and the formidable Saint-Roch wall, he delivered a solid performance.
Thanks to his 5th place in his age category, he officially earns his ticket to the UCI Gravel World Championships 2025, which will take place on October 11 and 12 in the Netherlands.
